The principle amount invested and the length of the investment determine the rate of interest on a Fixed Deposit. Different banks’ FD interest rates vary depending on the amount, term, and kind of depositor. Before investing, it’s always a good idea to check the FD rates offered by different banks.

Take a look at Kotak Mahindra Bank, Bank of Baroda (BoB), SBI HDFC Bank, and ICICI Bank’s current fixed deposit interest rates.

Latest FD rates from Kotak Mahindra

Kotak Mahindra Bank has increased FD rates for sums less than 2 crore for various tenures. According to the Kotak Mahindra Bank website, the revised rates will take effect on April 12, 2022. Following the most recent increase, the bank now offers interest rates on deposits maturing in 7 days to 10 years ranging from 2.50 percent to 5.60 percent.

HDFC Bank’s most recent FD rates

According to the lender’s website, HDFC Bank has boosted interest rates on fixed deposits of less than 2 crore for specific tenures. From April 6, 2022, the new fixed deposit (FD) rates will be in effect. For the general population, HDFC Bank offers interest rates ranging from 2.50 percent to 5.60 percent on deposits maturing in 7 days to ten years.

Latest FD rates from Bank of Baroda

For deposits of less than 2 crore, the Bank of Baroda (BoB) has increased interest rates on fixed deposits (FDs) with effect from March 22. Following this change, the Bank of Baroda’s newest FD interest rates range from 2.80% to 5.550% for maturities ranging from 7 days to 10 years.

SBI’s most recent fixed-rate FD interest rates

General consumers will receive 2.9 percent to 5.5 percent on SBI FDs with terms ranging from 7 to 10 years. Senior people will receive an additional 50 basis points (bps) on these deposits, ranging from 3.4 percent to 6.30 percent. These tariffs will take effect on February 15, 2022.

The most recent ICICI Bank FD interest rates

On deposits expiring in 7 days to 10 years, ICICI Bank offers interest rates ranging from 2.50 percent to 5.60 percent. These tariffs will take effect on January 20, 2022.
