The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has notified the start of the qualifying test for admission (boys and girls) to the famed Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC) in Dehradun. Here are the necessary details:

Examination Date:

• Date: 1 June 2024 (Forenoon and afternoon sessions)
• Centers: Selected centers throughout the country, including Chennai.

The Admission Process:

• The examination will include both written and viva-voce tests.

Written Examination:

• Subjects include English, Mathematics, and General Knowledge.
• Medium: English or Hindi for Mathematics and General Knowledge.

Viva-Voce:

• To evaluate IQ, personality, and communication skills.
• The minimum pass grade for each paper, including the interview, will be 50%.

• Obtain from the Rashtriya Indian Military College in Garhi Cantt, Dehradun, Uttarakhand.

By sending a demand draft:

• Send a written request together with a Demand Draft (Rs. 600 for general applicants, Rs. 555 for SC/ST candidates) to the address listed below.

Online Payment:

• Visit the RIMC’s website
• Make an online payment (Rs. 600 for General and Rs. 555 for SC/ST applicants).
• The prospectus-cum-application and previous question papers will be sent via rapid post.

• Ensure that the address details are clear and complete in CAPITAL LETTERS.
• The RIMC hologram (seal) on the application form is required.
• There are no refunds for application costs.
