RRC-CR Recruitment 2022: Check Posts, Vacancies, Eligibility, and How to Apply

RRC-CR Recruitment 2022: Central Railway invites online applications for hiring candidates to fill up Two (02) posts in level 2 and Ten (10) posts (i.e. 02 posts each for Mumbai, Bhusawal, Nagpur, Pune, and Solapur Division) in level 1 against Scouts and Guides Quota for the year 2022-23 in Central Railway. As per the RRC-CR Recruitment 2022 notification, the posts are open for all regardless of Community and there is no reservation for any community. There are a total of 12 vacancies for the Posts.

The age of the candidate shall be between 18 to 33 for unreserved candidates, but there is 5 years of relaxation for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC as prescribed in the RRC-CR Recruitment 2022 notification. Eligible employees should submit only online applications on the official website. Candidates should enter all the required details in the online application form. An incomplete application shall not be accepted. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/Women/Minorities and Economically Backward Class/ Persons with a disability will have to pay Rs. 250 (Rupees Two Hundred Fifty only), and all other candidates will have to pay Rs. 500 (Rupees Five Hundred Only). Candidates are advised to visit the website of RRC regularly for any change(s) and updates on any information/schedule of examination etc as mentioned in the RRC-CR Recruitment 2022 notification.

Age-Limit for RRC-CR Recruitment 2022:

For Level – 2: 18 to 27+3=30 (for UR) Plus 5 years for SC/ST 3 years for OBC as on 01/01/2023.

For Level – 1: 18 to 30+3 =33 (for UR) Plus 5 years  for SC/ST 3 years for OBC as on 01/01/2023

Pay Scale for RRC-CR Recruitment 2022:

Level-2 of 7^th CPC Pay Matrix (6^th CPC GP 1900).

Level-1 of 7^th CPC Pay Matrix (6^th CPC GP 1800).

Educational Qualifications for RRC-CR Recruitment 2022:

As per the RRC-CR Recruitment 2022 notification, the candidate should have minimum educational qualifications which is given below.

For Level- 2

12th (+2 stage) or equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate.

50% marks in the aggregate will be required for NTPC categories. 50% marks is not required for SC/ST/Ex-servicemen candidates and candidates who possess higher qualifications like Graduation/Post Graduation.

Passed Matriculation plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship.

Passed Matriculation plus ITI approved by NCVT/SCVT.

For Level – 1

10th pass from a recognized Board with National Apprenticeship Certificate granted by NCVT or 10th pass from a recognized Board with IT1 for appointment in Civil Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, S&T, and Catering departments.

10th pass or ITI or equivalent from a recognized Board for appointment in other departments.

10th pass plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.

Scouts and Guides Qualifications for RRC-CR Recruitment 2022:

A President Scout/Guide/Rover/Ranger OR Himalayan Wood Badge (HWB) holder in any Section.

Should have been an active member of a Scouts Organization for the last 5 (Five) years i.e. 2017-18 onwards. The “Certificate of Activeness” should be as per Annexure ‘A’ enclosed.

Should have attended two events at National Level OR All Indian Railway’s level AND Two events at the State level.

Application Fees for RRC-CR Recruitment 2022:

As per the RRC-CR Recruitment 2022 notification, For All Candidates except those mentioned in sub-para (II) below Rs. 500 (Rupees Five Hundred Only) with a provision for refunding Rs. 400 to those who actually appear in the written examination, and for candidates belonging to SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/Women/Minorities and Economically Backward Class/ Persons with disability Rs. 250 (Rupees Two Hundred Fifty only) with a provision for refunding same to those who actually appear in the written examination.

Candidates should enter all the required details in the online application form. An incomplete application shall not be accepted.
