RRC-ER Recruitment 2022: Railway Recruitment Cell- Eastern Railway is seeking online applications from eligible candidates, for filling up the Group ‘C’ Post vacancies against the Cultural Quota of Eastern Railway for the year 2022-23 for two (02) posts in Group ‘C’ category/ Pay Level – 2. Candidates having no Cultural Qualifications need not apply. The selected candidate will be placed at Level-2 in the Pay Matrix of 7th CPC with Grade pay of Rs. 1900.

According to the RRC- ER Recruitment 2023 notification, there are 02 vacancies for the Posts including 01 for Flutist and 01 for Bharatnatyam Dancer (Female). Age Limit for RRC-ER Recruitment 2022:

The age of the candidate shall be between 18 years to 30 years for them to be eligible to apply for the posts.

Pay Scale for RRC-ER Recruitment 2022:

The selected candidate will be placed at Level-2 in the Pay Matrix of 7th CPC with a Grade pay Rs. 1900.

Essential Qualifications for RRC-ER Recruitment 2022:

1. The candidate should have passed the 12th or its equivalent Examination with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate, from govt. recognized Education Board.

He/She should hold 50% marks is not to be insisted upon in the case of SC/ST/ESM & PWD candidates and candidates having higher qualifications from UGC-recognized Universities. OR

He/She should be a 10th pass from a recognized Board Plus Act Apprenticeship/ITI approved by NCVT. (Diploma in Engineering is not considered as an alternative higher qualification).

2. He/She should hold a Degree/Diploma/Certificate in the respective discipline only from Govt. Recognized University/ Institute.

Desirable Qualifications:

i) Experience in the field in applied discipline and performance are given on All India Radio/ Door Darshan etc against the posts.

ii) Awards/Prizes won at National Level in an applied discipline.

Examination Fees for RRC- ER Recruitment 2023:

i. For all candidates except those mentioned below – Rs. 500 (Rupees five Hundred only) with a provision for refunding Rs.400 (Rupees four hundred) to those who actually appear in the written examination.

ii. For candidates belonging to SC, ST, Ex-servicemen, PWD, Women, Minorities, and Economically Backward Classes, Rs. 250 (Rupees Two hundred fifty) only with a provision for refunding the same to those who actually appear in the written examination. SC, ST, OBC, Economically Backward Classes, and PWD, must be enclosed as per Annexure attached in the Notification.

i) Closing date and time of online Applications – 04/02/2023 at 18.30 hrs.

ii) Written Test tentatively scheduled in February 2023
