RRC-NR Recruitment 2023 for 23 Vacancies: Check Posts, Pay Scale, and How to Apply
RRC-NR Recruitment 2023: The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Northern Railway, Ministry of Indian Railways, has sought applications from candidates meeting eligibility criteria for the Post of Group C and Group D Posts. As per the Northern Railway Recruitment 2023 notification, there are 23 Vacancies in total for the two Post Groups; i.e., 5 vacancies for Group C Posts and 18 vacancies for Group D Posts. The candidate was selected for the Post of Group C at Level 2 and at Group D Post at Level 1 of Pay Matrix 7th CPC.
The age of the candidate shall be between 18 to 30 years (for UR) for Group C and for the Posts under Group D is 18 to 33 years (for UR). The selected candidate will be required to undergo training as per the requirement of the post on which he/she has been selected. The candidates are required to apply by clicking on the link given in the Notification. The candidate may click on the Apply online link and register to apply for the Post. The Date & Time of Closing of the Online Application at 1200 Hrs is 28/01/2023.

Selected candidates shall be employed on the Railway or Railway Establishment to which he or she posted. It shall be open to the competent authority to transfer the railway servant to any other department or division/unit or railway or railway establishment including a project in or out of India.
The age of the candidate shall be between 18 to 30 years (for UR) to be eligible for the given posts in Group C. The age will be relaxed for up to 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC. The age limits will be reckoned as on 01/01/2023.
The age limit for the candidate to be eligible for the Posts under Group D is 18 to 33 years (for UR).
For the Group C Posts:
Educational Qualification:
(a) The candidate should have passed 10 + 02 (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized Board.
50% is not to be insisted upon in the case of SC/ST/ExSM and those candidates who possess qualifications higher than intermediate such as graduation/Post graduation, are exempted from the minimum 50% marks criteria.
For Technical Posts Matriculation/SSLC plus ITI from recognized institutions of NCVT /SCVT
(OR)
Matriculation/SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship Scouting Qualification:
(a) A President Scouts/Guide/ Rover/Ranger OR Himalaya Wood Badge (HWB) holder in any section.
(b) Should have been an active member of a Scouts organization for the last 5 years.
(c) Should have attended two events at National Level
OR
All Indian Railway’s level and Two Events at the State level.
For the Group D Posts:
For Civil Engg, Mech, Elect & S&T:
The candidate should be 10th passed + National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT
OR
10th pass + ITI
For Other Departments:
10th Pass or ITI or equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT
Scouting Qualification:
(a) A President Scouts/Guide/Rover/Ranger or Himalaya Wood Badge (HWB) holder in any section.
(b) Should have been an active member of a Scouts organization for the last 5 years. The Certificate of Activeness should be as per the prescribed proforma.
(c) Should have attended two events at the National level
OR
All Indian Railway’s level and Two events at the State level.
The candidate selected for the post of Group C Posts at Level 2 of Pay Matrix 7th CPC.
The candidate who are appointed to the Group D Posts at Level 1 of Pay Matrix 7th CPC
The selected candidate will be required to undergo training as per the requirement of the post on which he/she has been selected.
For candidates belonging to SC/ ST, Women, Minorities, and Economically Backward Classes: Rs. 250 (Rupees Two Hundred Fifty) only. The examination Fee will be refunded to these Categories of Candidates only when they actually appear in the Written Examination.
For all other candidates, the application fees will be Rs. 500 (Rupees Five Hundred) only through Online Payment in favor of RRC/ NR. The examination fee is not refundable under any circumstances.
