Northern Railway Recruitment 2023 for Non-Technical Posts: Check Eligibility, Pay Scale and How to Apply
Northern Railway Recruitment 2023: The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Northern Railway, Ministry of Indian Railways, has sought Applications from the Candidates meeting Eligibility for 1) Key Board Player for Instrumental Music and 2) Violin/Sitar Player for Instrumental Music (Non-Technical Posts).
Railway Recruitment Cell notified 1) Key Board Player for Instrumental Music and 2) Violin/Sitar Player Posts are to be filled through Direct Recruitment by Selection in Level-2 of Pay Matrix 7th CPC against the Cultural Quota for the Year 2022-23. There are 02 Vacancies; i.e., 01 Vacancy for each Post under Northern Railway Recruitment 2023.

Recruitment Name: Direct Recruitment against Cultural Quota for the Year 2022-23 in the Northern Railway.
Selection Process: Written Examination, Practical Demonstration and Document Verification.
The Upper Age Limits (As on 01.01.2023) for Northern Railway Recruitment 2023 is given below:
i) The Open Category Candidate should be Minimum 18 Years and Maximum 30 Years
ii) Relaxation in case of Reserved Community Candidates explained in the Northern Railway Recruitment 2023.
Essential Qualifications: i) Passed 12th (+2 Stage) or its Equivalent Examination with Minimum 50% Marks in aggregate. Reserved (SC/ST) and Ex-Service-Men Candidates remain exempted from 50% Marks in respect of the Candidate having in possession Qualifications higher than HSC, such as, Graduation/Post-Graduation.
ii) Candidate should have in possession Degree/Diploma/Certificate in specified Cultural Stream from the Government accredited Institute for which Notification has been issued.
Desirable Qualifications:
i) Experience in the Field and Performance on the All India Radio (AIR)/Door-Darshan (DD) etc.
ii) Prizes won at the National Level
The Railway Recruitment Cell shall carry through the Selection Process for both Posts; viz., Key Board Player for Instrumental Music AND Violin/Sitar Player for Instrumental Music against the Cultural Quota for the Year 2022-23.
The Railway Recruitment Cell will conduct the Selection Process by way of i) Written Examination, ii) Practical Demonstration(s) and, iii) Document Verification.
i) General Merit/EWS/OBC (NCL) Candidate: Rs.500 (Rupees Five Hundred only) Remittance through Online Payment in favor of the RRC/Northern Railway.
ii) SC/ST Candidates/Women/Minorities and EBC: Rs. 250 (Rupees Two Hundred Fifty only).
Note: The Railway Recruitment Cell shall refund the Examination Fee subject to Reserved Community Candidate actually appearing in the Written Examination.
Among the Candidates, those who deem to have convincingly met Eligibility for both Posts vide Cultural Quota for the Year 2022-23 may apply Online up to 28th January 2023 (28.01.2023), i.e., the Last Date to complete the Online Application Process under the Northern Railway Recruitment 2023.
