SAI Recruitment 2022: Sports Authority of India (SAI), an autonomous organization under the administrative control of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, is inviting applications from Sports persons for appointment in Coach Grade (Level-10) in Athletics, Cycling, Football, and Weightlifting disciplines. There are a total of 04 vacancies for the posts. The appointment for SAI Recruitment is done on a deputation basis for 3 years at STC Car Nicobar.

As per SAI Recritment Notification Interested candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria can apply online through the official website of SAI. The Sports persons (Ex- International Athletes) inducted under deputation as Coach will be required to devote full time to coaching and hence, it is advisable that only those sports persons, who can devote full time for coaching should apply. Candidates will be selected on the basis of interviews including oral tests. The list of eligible shortlisted candidates for interview along with the date and place of interview will be posted on SAI website. Candidates will be verified at the time of the interview and if it is found that they do not fulfill any of the eligibility conditions then the application will be rejected.

The closing date for submission of online applications for SAI Recruitment 2022 is 15th December 2022 till 17:00 hrs. Applications received after the due date and incomplete applications will be rejected.

Eligibility for SAI Recruitment 2022:

Diploma or equivalent in coaching from SAI NSNIS or from any other recognized Indian/Foreign University OR

Olympics/International Participation OR

Dronacharya Awardee.

Eligibility by Pay Level- Officers with regular service of 2 years in the pay Level-8 i.e. (Rs. 44900-142400) OR

Officers with regular service of 3 years in the pay Level-7 i.e. (Rs. 47600-151100) OR

Officers with regular service of 8 years in the pay Level-6 i.e. (Rs. 35400-112400).

Tenure for SAI Recruitment 2022:

As per the SAI Recruitment the engagement will be initially for a period of 03 years.

Selection Procedure for SAI Recruitment 2022:

i. Through interviews including oral tests for discipline-specific knowledge. In case, the number of candidates is more than five times the vacancies, short-listing of candidates for interview shall be carried out on the basis of approved criteria. Hence, mere fulfillment of eligibility criteria does not entail the candidate is called for the interview.

ii. The list of eligible shortlisted candidates for interview along with the date(s) and place of interview will be posted on the SAI website.

iii. The Candidates should note that their candidature at all the stages shall be purely provisional, subject to their satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions. If on verification at any stage before or after the Interview, it is found that they do not fulfill any of the eligibility conditions; their candidature shall be canceled by the SAI.
