SAI Recruitment 2022: SAI is an autonomous organization within the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports (MYAS) that was established under the Societies Registration Act of 1860 with the mission of developing and promoting sports in the country. Today, the primary goal of SAI is to attain excellence in sports and to train and develop athletes to compete in international tournaments. To fulfill this goal, it has international-grade sports infrastructure scattered around the country, as well as skilled trainers. The Government of India contributes significantly to the Authority’s funding. The Sports Authority of India (SAI), Regional Centre, Lucknow, welcomes applications from suitable, competent, and motivated Indian residents to work as Consultant in Accounts on a contract basis for a term of one (01) year, which can be extended up to five (5) years at NCoE Lucknow. The age limit should not be more than 65 years for retired Central/ State Government Officers as on the closing date of receipt of applications for appointment on a contract basis.

Candidates should have retired as Assistant Accounts Officer/ Junior Accounts Officer or completed 05 years of service as Senior Accountant from the Central/ State Government/ Union Territories offices/ PSUs/ Autonomous Bodies/ Statutory Bodies under Central/State Government and possess the essential qualification and experience as mentioned above.
The candidate fulfilling the eligibility criteria will be called for an interview and the selection will be made on the basis of the recommendations of the duly appointed Selection/ Interview Committee.
Candidates who meet all of the qualifying requirements must submit their application in its entirety in the manner specified in the Annexure, which must be handwritten in strong capitals or typewritten on A-4 size paper only. The application should be sent in a closed cover with the words “Application for appointment as Consultant in Accounts” superscribed on the envelope to the Executive Director, Sports Authority of India, Netaji Subhash Regional Centre, Sarojini Nagar, Kanpur Road, Lucknow (U.P.)-226008.
