SAIL Recruitment 2022: Bokaro Steel Plant, has invited applications from qualified Doctors (including retired Doctors) to appear in the ‘Walk-in-Interview’ for engagement as Medical Officer (OHS), Specialists and Superspecialists for Bokaro General Hospital (BGH) and for hospitals located in Jharkhand Group of Mines of SAIL in its Hospitals & OHS in its various mines located at Jharkhand.

Age Limit for the Post Vacant in the SAIL Recruitment 2022:

The candidates applying for the SAIL recruitment 2o22 should be below the age of 69 years as on date of advertisement i.e.08.10.2022.
The upper age limit for contractual engagement under this Scheme is 70 years. However, the doctors to be engaged should be medically fit to perform his/her duty.

Who can apply for SAIL Recruitment 2022:

Interested & eligible candidates having requisite qualifications can be walk-in for selection interview at the scheduled date, time & venue. Ex-employees of SAIL Plants/ Units and other PSUs/ Govt. can also apply, provided, they have not separated by opting for voluntary retirement. The ex-employee doctors will have to provide self-certificate in this regard.

Essential Qualifications for SAIL Recruitment 2022:

The essential qualification and corresponding remuneration rates of the Doctors to be engaged under the scheme shall be as under:

Medical Officer -OHS

MBBS with Degree/ Diploma/ Certificate in Industrial/ Occupational Health/AFIH [Associate Fellowship in Industrial Health] from a University/ Institute recognized by MCI.

Specialists

MBBS from a University/ Institute recognized by MCI with PG Diploma in respective speciality

MBBS from a University/ Institute recognized by MCI with MD/MS/DNB in respective speciality.

Superspecialists

MBBS from a University/ Institute recognized by MCI with DM/M/Ch//DNB in respective superspeciality

Remuneration for SAIL Recruitment 2022:

The candidate selected for the post of Radiologist/Sonologist will be entitled to a pay scale of Rs.400/- per case + taxes (if any, applicable as per Govt. rules):

Tenure of Engagement for SAIL Recruitment 2022:

The initial tenure of contractual engagement of Doctor engaged under this Scheme would be for a period of one year, extendable by one more year. Maximum period of engagement is 3 years. There will be no bar on re-engagement. However, the tenure of engagement shall be subject to the upper age limit as prescribed

Selection Process for SAIL Recruitment 2022:

Through “Walk-in-Interview” followed by a medical screening.

Engagement will start immediately after the selection of the candidate is completed and orders are issued for engagement.

Candidates responding to the advertisement will have to download the Application Form and submit the duly filled application form along with the listed supporting documents at the time of ‘Walk-in-Interview’. No other mode of application will be accepted.
