The candidates selected for SAIL Recruitment 2024 will receive a monthly remuneration of Rs.50000. On the successful completion of training of one year, the candidates will be designated as Assistant Manager and placed on the scale of pay of Rs.60000 to 180000.
The term of appointment for SAIL Recruitment 2024 will be on a probation basis for an appropriate period of one year. The management trainee (Technical) will be registered as an apprentice under the provisions of the Apprentices Act, of 1961. After successful completion of training, the candidates shall be placed on probation for one year.
The candidates who belong to General/ OBC (NCL)/ EWS candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs.700 and Rs.200 as a processing fee for SC/ ST/ PWBD/ Departmental candidates to complete the application process of SAIL Recruitment 2024.
The selection of SAIL Recruitment 2024 will be determined on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the examination of GATE 2024. The committee will prepare a merit list on the basis of the scores obtained by the candidates in the GATE 2024 examinations. The final selection will be totally based on the Group Discussion/ Interview conducted by the committee.
