SAIL Recruitment 2025: Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) is recruiting hard-working, qualified, and suitable candidates for the post of Consultant as General Duty Medical Officer (GDMO) for Bokaro General Hospital (BGH) on a contract basis. As stated in the official notification of SAIL Recruitment 2025, there are 07 vacant seats available for the given post. The applicant must be the age of 69 years as on the date of advertisement. The engagement is made for a period of 01 year or till attaining the age of 70 years whichever is earlier, which can be further extended for a period of one year at the discretion of the Company(see below).
To apply for SAIL Recruitment 2025, the applicant must have an MBBS from a University/ Institute recognized by MCI/NMC/SMC and registered with MCI/NMC/SMC or have a valid practitioner license and enrolled in the State Register or National Register (as applicable). The selection of the candidates will be based on a walk-in interview followed by a medical screening. The chosen candidates will be given a salary of Rs.90000 per month. The candidates can visit the venue for the interview. The walk-in interview will be held on 16.01.2025. The reporting time is 09:00 AM to 02:00 PM. Following the official notification of SAIL Recruitment 2025, eligible and willing candidates are suggested to bring their duly filled application form along with the required documents at the time of the interview. Latecomers are not allowed for the interview.

The candidates should be the age of 69 years as on the date of advertisement for applying to SAIL Recruitment 2025. The upper age limit for contractual engagement under this Scheme is 70 years. However, the consultants to be engaged should be fit to perform his/her duties.
Candidates who have an MBBS from a University/ Institute recognized by MCI/NMC/SMC and registered with MCI/NMC/SMC or have a valid practitioner license and are enrolled in the State Register or National Register (as applicable) are eligible to apply for SAIL Recruitment 2025.
Based on the official notification of SAIL Recruitment 2025, the appointment is made on a contract basis and the selected candidates will be appointed for a period of 01 year or till attaining the age of 70 years whichever is earlier, which can be further extended for a period of 01 year at the discretion of the Company. The maximum period of engagement under the same contract would not be more than 3 years. However, there will be no bar on re-engagement.
The performance of the Consultant (Doctor) so engaged will be reviewed on an annual basis and the tenure can be curtailed or extended, subject to satisfactory performance.
The chosen candidates for SAIL Recruitment 2025 will be posted in Bokaro General Hospital (BGH).
The official notification of SAIL Recruitment 2024 states that the selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs.90000.
The candidates will be selected for SAIL Recruitment 2025 on the basis of a walk-in interview.
