SBI JanNivesh SIP: Start Mutual Fund Investment with Rs. 250 On Monday, SBI Mutual Fund, in partnership with the State Bank of India (SBI), introduced the JanNivesh SIP. This new initiative focuses on making mutual fund investments easier for a larger number of people across India. JanNivesh SIP gave flexible options to invest, starting as low as Rs. 250. You can choose to invest daily, weekly, or monthly by making it easier for anyone to begin their investment journey. This service will be available on the SBI YONO app and other popular platforms such as Paytm, Groww, and Zerodha. This will make it easier for investors to access and maintain their investments using apps they already know and use. JanNivesh SIP was introduced to help first-time investors from rural, semi-urban, and urban areas easily start investing in mutual funds. It offers a simple way for them to begin their investment journey. Urban Investors: Focuses on city people who might not have easy access to financial advisors but are comfortable using online platforms to manage their finances. JanNivesh SIP makes it simple for self-employed people and small savers in the unorganized sector to invest and grow their money. It’s a flexible way for them to save and work towards their financial goals without any hassle. On January 22, the market regulator SEBI released a consultation paper to encourage distributors to promote affordable SIPs (Systematic Investment Plans). The paper recommended a Rs. 500 reward for teaching first-time investors about mutual funds and encouraging them to make long-term, sustainable investments. SBI Bank has announced that it will not charge any transaction fees for bank transfers related to micro-SIPs. Now, this is available only for the SBI Balanced Advantage Fund. You can use SBI YONO and other digital platforms like Paytm, Groww, and Zerodha to access this service.
