SEBI Recruitment 2022: The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), has invited applications from Indian Citizens for the post of Security Coordinator in the rank of General Manager on a contractual basis for a period of 3 years. The appointment for the post will be on a contractual basis for an initial period of three years which on satisfactory performance may be extended for a further period of up to three years, subject to the approval of the Competent Authority. The Board reserves the right to relax any of the requirements for the candidates on a Contract basis. The contract can be terminated by either side by giving 3 months’ notice or three months’ salary and allowances in lieu thereof.
There is only one vacancy for the Post. The candidate would be posted at the Head Office of SEBI in Mumbai. However, the service may be transferred to any location in India where SEBI has its Offices. The monthly gross emoluments at the beginning of the scale work out to be Rs. 243835 (with Board provided accommodation) and Rs. 312835 (without accommodation) as per the SEBI Recruitment 2022 Notification. The mode of Selection will be Interview. SEBI reserves the right to raise the minimum experience in order to limit the candidates called for interviews. Appointment of the selected candidate is subject to his/her being declared medically fit by the Medical Officer appointed /approved by SEBI.
The candidate should not be more than 60 years of age as on 31/10/2022. The contract will expire on completion of three years (if not granted an extension) or the candidate attaining the age of 62 years, whichever is earlier. Candidates who satisfy the eligibility norms may apply to give their bio-data strictly in the format given in the SEBI Recruitment 2022 Notification.
The candidates should graduate from a recognized University, National Defence Academy or Open University recognized by the Central/ State Government. The candidate should be an officer with a minimum of 20 years of Commissioned service in the Indian Army/ Indian Navy / Indian Air Force, Serving / decommissioned in the rank, not below Lieutenant Colonel (or equivalent). or, should have served a minimum of 14 years through Short Service Commission (SSCNT) and have 6 years of experience as a Security Officer with Banks, Financial institutions, or any other reputed organization. The candidate should be expected to be computer literate and conversant with MS Office, Word, and Excel Applications.
The present applicable SEBI scale of pay for a General Manager is 117150-3700(1)-120850- 3900(2)-128650-4100(3)-140950-5000(5)- 165950 (12 years). The monthly gross emoluments at the beginning of the scale work out to be Rs. 2,43,835 (with Board provided accommodation) and ₹3,12,835/- (without accommodation).
