Disney is hiring an experienced Senior Executive – Financial Accounting at their Mumbai location. The role requires a strong Senior Executive having experience in books closing, compliance, reconciliation and tax competency.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Ideal Candidate should be able to:

• Preparation of VAT returns for EMEA entities
• Timely and accurate completion of monthly & quarterly tax compliances
• Responsible for review of the VAT returns
• Preparation and submission of monthly/quarterly Balance sheet schedules.
• Responsible to review the accounting entries and VAT treatment there on
• Closely working with external auditors and managing their queries.
• Liaisoning with third party & stakeholders for submission of the VAT returns
• Raising payments and ensuring completion of same

• Ensuring timely closure of queries/notices from Tax Authorities, Tax Auditors, Statutory & Internal audits
• Participate in new initiatives and projects and focus on Process improvements & automation.
• Monitoring various hygiene of accounts and their open item management
• Communicating and develop good working relations with business teams will be key aspect for success.
• Collaborating with EMEA stakeholders, Local Finance team
• Update self on VAT regulations and amendments there on
• Preparation & maintenance of SOPs
• Preparation & maintenance of work trackers
