Mr. Arvind Shrivastava has been appointed as the Secretary of the Department of Revenue in the Ministry of Finance on April 18, 2025. Mr. Shrivastava is a 1994-batch IAS officer from Karnataka. Before this new role, he worked in the Prime Minister's Office as Joint Secretary and later as Additional Secretary.
His previous experience includes:
- Joint Secretary in the Budget Division (Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance)
- Development Officer at the Asian Development Bank
- Secretary in the Finance Department, Bengaluru
- Secretary in the Urban Development Department, Bengaluru
