SIDBI Recruitment 2022: Small Industry Development Bank of India (SIDBI) is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Manager in Grade ‘A’ in the General Stream. According to the official website of SIDBI Recruitment, there are a total of 100 vacancies for this post. This vacancy is also open for staff employed in SIDBI.
The official notification released by SIDBI states that the minimum age limit for the candidate is 21 years and the maximum age limit is 28 years. The selection will be based objective test as well as a descriptive test followed by a personal interview.

According to the SIDBI Recruitment official notification, there are 100 vacancies for the post of Assistant Manager. Details of the Vacancies has been given below:
Eligibility Criteria for SIDBI Recruitment:
A candidate must be either
- A citizen of India or
- A subject of Nepal or
- A subject of Bhutan or
- A Tibetan refugee (who came over to India before 1st January 1962) with the intention of permanently settling in India; or
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Educational qualification for SIDBI Recruitment:
Post-Graduation Degree in any discipline (Preferably from Commerce / Economics / Management subject) from an institute / University recognized by the University Grant Commission (UGC) / Central Government OR Candidate having a bachelor’s degree in Law / Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Preferably Civil / Electrical / Mechanical), Or CA / CS / CWA / CFA / CMA OR Ph.D. from Institutions recognized by GOI/UGC.
The Candidates appearing in the final year are also eligible to apply, provided they shall be required to submit the final mark sheet and provisional/final degree certificate, in original at the time of the interview.

Selection Procedure for SIDBI Recruitment:
The selection process for the post would be by way of an online examination comprising the objective test as well as descriptive tests followed by a Personal Interview. Candidates who qualify based on the minimum cut-off marks decided by SIDBI would be called for an interview.
List of Documents required at the time of interview for SIDBI Recruitment:
The following documents in original and attested photocopies in support of the candidate’s eligibility and identity are to be invariably submitted at the time of the interview failing which the candidate may not be permitted to appear for the interview. Non-submission of requisite documents by the candidate at the time of the interview will debar his candidature from further participation in the recruitment process.
- Printout of the valid Interview Call Letter.
- Valid system-generated printout of the online application form
- Duly authenticated Exam call letter (with an authenticated copy of ID proof). Candidates who do not bring the authenticated/ stamped call letter of examination and authenticated/ stamped photocopy of ID proof at the time of the Interview will not be allowed to appear for the Interview.
- Proof of Date of Birth (Birth Certificate issued by the Competent Municipal Authorities or SSLC/ Std. X Certificate with DOB).
- Photo Identify Proof
- Proof of Permanent Address
- Marksheets & certificates for Graduation or equivalent qualification etc. Proper document from Board /University for having declared the result on or before 03.01.2023 has to be submitted.
- Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority in the prescribed format as stipulated by the Government of India in the case of SC/ST/OBC/EWS category candidates.
- In the case of candidates belonging to the OBC category, the certificate should specifically contain a clause that the candidate does not belong to the creamy layer section excluded from the benefits of reservation for Other Backward Classes in Civil posts & services under the Government of India. OBC caste certificate containing the non-creamy layer clause should be valid as on the interview date if called for (issued within one year prior to the interview date if called for). The caste Name mentioned in the certificate should tally letter by letter with the Central Government list/notification. Candidates belonging to the OBC category but coming under the creamy layer and/ or if their caste does not find a place in the Central List are not entitled to OBC reservation. They should indicate their category as General in the online application form.
- Disability certificate in the prescribed format issued by the District Medical Board in case of Persons with Disability category. If the candidate has used the services of a Scribe at the time of Online Examination, the duly filled-in details of the scribe in the prescribed format.
- In the case of candidates belonging to the EWS category, a Competent Authority issued an Income and Asset Certificate in the prescribed format.
- An Ex-serviceman candidate has to produce a copy of the Service or Discharge book along with pension payment order and documentary proof of rank last / presently held (substantive as well as acting) at the time of the interview. Those who are still in defense service should submit a certificate from a competent authority that they will be relieved from defense services, on or before 03.01.2024.
- Candidates serving in Government / quasi Govt offices / Public Sector Undertakings (including Nationalized Banks and Financial Institutions) are required to produce a “No Objection Certificate” from their employer at the interview in the absence of which their candidature will not be considered. The No Objection Certificate should be issued for appearing in an interview for selection to SIDBI. Production of conditional NOCs at the time of the interview will not be considered and such candidates will not be permitted to participate in the interview/will not be considered for the further selection process.
- Persons are eligible for age relaxation.
- Must produce a certificate from the District Magistrate to the effect that they are eligible for relief in terms of the Rehabilitation Package for 1984 Riot Affected Persons sanctioned by the Government and communicated vide Ministry of Finance, Dept of Financial Services communication No.F.No.9/21/2006 -IR dated 27.07.2007.
- Experience certificates, if any. issued by the Govt of India.
- Any other relevant documents in support of eligibility
