It is not now at all an easy task to crack the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) civil service examination; only those aspirants can achieve this goal who never give up, learn from their mistakes, and keep working hard for one goal. Mehak Jain is one of them. At just the age of 24 years, she made this possible. Mehak Jain is a resident of Haryana, Faridabad, who gained an outstanding All India Rank (AIR) of 17 in the UPSC 2021 exam. She was able to achieve this after two unsuccessful attempts. However, she never gave up, kept on working hard, and on the third attempt, she cracked it. Now let's read about her success story.
Who is Mehak Jain?
Mehak Jain belongs to Faridabad, Haryana. Her elder sister is a Chartered Accountant (CA). Her father is a mechanical engineer in a private firm, and her mother is a homemaker. She completed her graduation from Hansraj College of Delhi University, after completing her primary education, and then she completed her post-graduation from Jamia Millia Islamia, one of the well-known institutes in India, in Public Administration.
Mehak always wanted to crack the UPSC civil services examination; however, she failed in her first two attempts. However, her problems only made her more determined and even more excited to follow her dreams.
She worked hard even in her illness, weaknesses, and shortcomings. To test her level of understanding, she even solved previous years' question papers of UPSC. Her hard work did not go unrewarded; as a result, she succeeded on her third attempt and cracked the UPSC 2021 examination with an outstanding All India Rank (AIR) of 17.
Now, after successful clearance, Mehak has been allocated to the Gujarat cadre, serving as an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer in the state.
