SSC JE Department Preference 2022: Option cum Preference Selection Window to Open, Check Important Details

SSC JE Department Preference 2022: In an official notification released on 28 April 2023, The Staff Selection Commission, SSC has said that the commission would obtain Option-cum-Preference before the declaration of the final result of the SSC Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Quality Surveying & Contracts) Examination, 2022. All candidates, who have appeared in Paper-II, are advised to submit their Option-cum-Preference for Post(s)/Organization(s) for Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Quality Surveying & Contracts) Examination, 2022 through their respective ‘CANDIDATE LOGIN’ on the official website of SSC.

A tab for submission of Option-cum-Preference for Post(s)/Organization(s) will be activated on the official website which will remain active during the period from 4 May 2023 to 6 May 2023. Candidates may please also note that Option-cum-Preference can be revised only during the above-mentioned period and the Option-cum-Preference last submitted by the candidate will be treated as final.

SSC JE 2022 Option cum Preference Selection: Important Details

Candidates who fail to exercise their Option-cum-Preference during the aforesaid period, shall not be given any further opportunity for submission of their Option-cum-Preference and such candidates will not be considered for inclusion in the final merit list/final selection. Therefore, the candidates who have appeared in Paper II are required to mandatorily exercise their Option-cum-Preference for consideration of their candidature in the final merit list/final selection in Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Quality Surveying & Contracts) Examination, 2022.

PwBD candidates must ensure that they give preference(s) for only those post(s) which are identified as suitable for their disabilities. Allocation of posts will be made as per the provisions of the Notice of Examination on the basis of ‘merit-cum-preference of posts’. The candidature of a PwBD candidate will get cancelled by the User Organization concerned if he/she gets selected for a post that is not identified as suitable for his/her disabilities.
