• Candidates must have a master’s degree in Economics/Econometrics/Statistics/Applied Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Mathematical Economics/Financial Economics with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade from a recognized university/institute of repute. In case the final certificate/mark sheet has a CGPA or similar grading, then the Candidate has to convert from CGPA to Percentage in Original from the University.
• Candidates having PhD degrees in Economics/Banking/Finance/Statistics/Mathematics will be given preference.

• Economist- The appointment is for 1 year initially. Which may be renewed for two terms of two years each at the discretion of the Bank.
• Defence Banking Advisor- The appointment is for 2 years initially. On completion of the contract period, an officer aged 64 years or less with a satisfactory health condition can be considered for re-engagement for a maximum period of 2 years at the Bank’s discretion, upto attaining 65 years of age.
