Educational Qualification Required for Territorial Army Recruitment 2023:

As informed in the official notification of Territorial Army Recruitment 2023, the candidate should have a degree of B Tech Computer Science/ Computer Engineering/IT and Telecom, B Sc (Computer Science/IT) with min 60% grade or equivalent from a recognized university.

Desirable-

• The candidate should have a degree of M.Tech. in computer science or cyber security.
• The candidate should have work experience in the cyber field for 2 years or more is preferred.

Training Period for Territorial Army Recruitment 2023:

Based on the official notification of Territorial Army Recruitment 2023, the period of training is listed below:

• Six months Pre-Commission Training as provided in TA Rule 20A amended vide SRO 65 dt 29 Apr 2023. (Candidates shall be commissioned in TA only on successful completion of the said PreCommission Training).
• Two months annual training camp every year if not continuously embodied for six months in a training year (01 April -31 March).

• All educational qualification certificates (Matric onwards till Graduation).
• All educational documents for verification
• Copy of Identity proof with photographs (Voter ID/PAN Card/Aadhar Card/
• Passport/ Driving license etc).
• Domicile/ Residential proof.
• Certificate for proof of age (Matric/ Senior Secondary mark sheet and certificate for verification of date of birth).
• Latest income proof from the appropriate authority (i.e. Income Tax Revenue

• Candidates whose names vary in documents should submit a copy of the Gazette notification of India/ State showing the correct name duly supported by newspaper cuttings.
• Self-employed candidates are required to submit an Affidavit on Non-Judicial stamp paper of minimum value duly attested stating the nature of employment and annual income along with a photocopy of PAN card and self-certified character certificate.
• Service certificate by candidates employed in Central Govt/ Union Territory/ State/Semi Govt/ Private Sector Authenticated by Head of office.

Selection Procedure for Territorial Army Recruitment 2023:

Referring to the official notification of Territorial Army Recruitment 2023, the suitable and eligible candidates will be selected on Document Check, Proficiency Test and Interview.

A four-phase selection procedure will be followed: –

• Phase I: Document Check- Benchmarking of candidates will be done based on qualification for preparation of merit list and issuing call letter for written test.
• Proficiency Test: Phase II- Written Test (100 Marks)- Only candidates scoring 60% and above in objective type written test will qualify for the Practical Test.
• Phase III: Practical Test (100 Marks)- Candidates qualifying in the Practical Test will be called for an Interview.
• Phase IV: Interview (300 Marks)- Interview by Board of Offers at Directorate General of Territorial Army
