Territorial Army Recruitment 2024: Notification Out for 184 Vacancies for 37 CETF Battalion 39 Gorkha Rifles (Soldier)
Territorial Army Recruitment 2024: The 37 CETF Bn (TA) 39 Gorkha Rifles will be organizing a recruitment rally for Ex-Servicemen (Pension holder only) and Ex-women employees (including premature retiree) of MoEF&CC and State Forest Department for various posts of Junior Commissioned Officer, Religious Teacher Junior Commissioned Officer, Soldier (General Duty), Soldier/CLK, Soldier/Tailor, Soldier/Chef Community, Soldier/Hairdresser, Soldier/Washerman, Soldier/Artisian Metallurgy and Soldier/Housekeeper on All India Basis. Eligible candidates volunteering to join are required to report screening (Physical tests and Interviews) at 7 AM on 21 October 2024 at 11 Gorkha Rifles Regimental Centre, Lucknow Cantonment (UP).
To apply for Territorial Army Recruitment 2024, the candidates must have at least 20 years of experience in MoEF and CC/State Forest Department. The Ex-Servicemen (Pension holder only) and Ex-women employees (including premature retiree) can apply. The duration of appointment for enrolled persons of CETF Bn will be of 02 years from the date of their enrollment for service, further extenuable for 01 year. The period of enrollment of enrolled persons of CETF Bn will be 02 years commencing from the date of their enrollment for service and may be extended by 01 year at a time, subject to satisfactory performance and suitability for further retention in service and continuation of the project by the Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India for Territorial Army Recruitment 2024.

The mode of selection for Territorial Army Recruitment 2024 is based on the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and interview, which will be held on 21 October 2024 at 07:00 am.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET): The test includes a 1-mile run, pull-ups, trench crossing, and zig-zag balance. Candidates applying for tradesman positions will need to pass a trade-specific proficiency test, while ex-female candidates will be evaluated on their skills in afforestation and nursery management.
Medical Examination: Those Candidates who successfully pass these physical Efficiency tests will be followed by a medical examination to assess their fitness level.
Finally, candidates who qualify the physical and medical assessment will be invited for interview, which will be the final stage of the selection process.
