THSTI Recruitment 2022: Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI) is an autonomous institute of the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science & Technology, has invited applications from eligible candidates who are Indian nationals /persons with OCI status to fill up one position of Senior Professor (Clinical). As per the THSTI Recruitment 2022 notification, there is only one vacancy for the Post. The Senior Professor (Clinical) will also be engaged in Clinical Research in the upcoming medical research center on campus. The method of hiring will be Direct recruitment failing which the appointment will be through deputation/ Absorption as per the THSTI Recruitment Notification. The selected candidate will be placed in Level 14 of the Pay Matrix (Rs 144200 – 218200). In addition to the usual pay & allowances as admissible, the selected incumbent will be entitled to other benefits as given in the THSTI Recruitment Notification.

The age of the candidate shall not be above 50 years for direct recruitment and it shall not be above 58 years for deputation. Qualification and Experience  for THSTI Recruitment 2022:

For Direct Recruitment:

Essential:

MD (or equivalent) OR Ph.D. with a basic degree as MBBS / BDS / BVSc with at least fourteen years of R & D experience with original work as evidenced by publications and inventions introduced into clinical practice and policy.

Desirable:

Individuals with multi-disciplinary expertise and leadership background will be preferred.

For Deputation:

Scientists of the Central Govt. / State Govt. / Universities / Public Sector Undertakings or Government funded research organizations/ institutes subject to fulfillment of the following conditions:

(a) Possessing the qualifications prescribed for direct recruits

(b) (i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or,

(ii) With two years of regular service in the Level 13A of the pay matrix in the relevant field

Compensation for THSTI Recruitment 2022:

The selected candidate will be placed in Level 14 of the Pay Matrix (Rs 1,44,200 – 2,18,200). In addition to the usual pay & allowances as admissible, the selected incumbent will be entitled to other benefits such as semi-furnished on-campus housing (in lieu of HRA), medical reimbursement, telephone expenses reimbursement, newspaper allowance, children’s education allowance, Leave Travel Concession, New Pension Scheme contribution, transport allowance, support for a national and international conference, etc. as per the Government of India rules. Non-Practicing Allowance (as admissible).

Application Fees for THSTI Recruitment 2022:

The candidates belonging to the General, OBC & EWS categories will have to pay Rs. 1180. The General, OBC & EWS candidates from abroad with OCI Status will be USD $ 30.

Note: SC/ST/Women/PwBD candidates are exempted from payment of application fees
