UCSL Recruitment 2025: The Udupi Cochin Shipyard Limited (UCSL) is looking for interested and eligible candidates to fill 07 seats of Graduates/ Technician (Diploma) Apprenticeship Training in various disciplines. These disciplines include Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering in Graduate Apprentices and Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering and Machenical Engineering in Technician (Diploma) Apprentices. The candidates selected for the Graduate Apprentices will be given a monthly stipend of Rs.12000 and Meal’s Allowances and the candidates selected for the Technician (Diploma) Apprentices will be given a monthly stipend of Rs.10200 and Meal’s Allowances. The candidates applying for the opportunities mentioned above should be above 18 years old to be eligible.
As per official notification of UCSL Recruitment 2025, The period of training will be valid for a reasonable period of one year as per the Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act 1973. The selection of the applicable candidates will be done on the basis of the percentage of marks obtained by the candidates in their respective qualifications as applicable to the respective disciplines. The official notification of UCSL Recruitment 2025 states that the candidates who are interested in applying for the above-mentioned opportunity may apply by visiting the NATS Apprentices portal and submitting their applications along with all the relevant and supporting documents as asked by the committee. The duration of the training for UCSL Recruitment 2025 will remain valid for an appropriate period of one year as per Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973.
The selection process of the applicable candidates will be based on the percentage of marks obtained in the basic prescribed qualification as applicable to the respective disciplines in line with the official notification of UCSL Recruitment 2025. In case, same percentage of marks is secured by more than one candidate in prescribed qualification, relative merit shall be decided based on seniority in passing year.
