UGC NET 2024 Admit Card (OUT): UGC NET 2024 City Intimation Slip Released at ugcnet.nta.ac.in
UGC NET 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the UGC NET 2024 re-examination Admit Card. Eligible candidates can access it using the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in. The UGC NET 2024 re-examination is scheduled to be conducted from August 21 to September 4, 2024. The authority has also released the UGC NET 2024 City Intimation Slip officially for the exam set to be conducted in August 2024.
The UGC NET 2024 City Intimation Slip mentions the names of the exam centres allotted to the candidates who have registered for the UGC NET 2024 exam. The UGC NET 2024 Admit Card includes the name of the exam centres, exam date, time and other details related to the exam along with the instructions that need to be followed at the time of attending the exam.
The UGC NET 2024 Re-examination will be organised online in CBT i.e., Mode Test Based Mode.
Earlier, on June 18, 2024, the UGC NET 2024 exam was conducted in Offline mode i.e., Pen and Paper. However, the exam is not set to be conducted in Online mode i.e., CBT. As per the past trends, earlier the UGC NET 2024 for assistant professorship, Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and PhD admissions was organised in CBT Mode. This time the authority thought to make some deviations from past trends and decided to organise the exam in offline mode i.e., Pen and Paper.
This year, 2024, a total of 11,21,225 candidates have registered for the UGC NET 2024 re-exam. Last year, 9,45,872 candidates registered for the UGC NET December 2023 exam. A total of 9,08,580 candidates were present in the exam held in June. The overall percentage was recorded as 81%.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will organise the UGC NET 2024 June session exam in two papers, Paper I and Paper II. The time duration of the exam is set to three hours and the exam will be organised in both English and Hindi Medium.
