UGC NET Exam 2024: The University Grants Commission cancelled UGC NET 2024 on June 19, 2024. Prior to this, 83 subjects took the NTA UGC NET test on June 18, 2024, which was held in two shifts. The National Cyber Crime Threat Analytics Unit of the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C), which is part of the Ministry of Home Affairs, provided UGC with some comments on the examination, which is why it was cancelled. These inputs suggest, at the very least, that there may have been a compromise in the integrity of the previously mentioned examination.

The Ministry of Education, Government of India, has decided to cancel the UGC-NET June 2024 Examination in order to maintain the greatest level of transparency and the sanctity of the examination process. Information will be supplied separately for a new examination that will be done. Concurrently, the case is being turned over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (C.B.I.) so that it can be thoroughly investigated. On the official website, there isn’t an official update from NTA or UGC.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) administers the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET), also known as the NTA UGC NET, at the national level to evaluate applicants for Assistant Professor positions in Indian universities and colleges or for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) positions alone. A total of eighty-three disciplines will take the UGC NET.
