UGC NET Exam 2024: The University Grants Commission cancelled the UGC NET 2024 exam on June 19, 2024. Prior to this, the NTA UGC NET exam was held on June 18, 2024, for 83 topics in two shifts. The National Cyber Crime Threat Analytics Unit of the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C), which is part of the Ministry of Home Affairs, provided UGC with some input regarding the examination, which is why it was cancelled. These inputs suggest that there may have been a breach of the integrity of the previously mentioned examination.

The Ministry of Education, Government of India, has decided to cancel the UGC-NET June 2024 Examination in order to maintain the greatest level of transparency and the sanctity of the examination process. Information will be supplied separately for a new examination that will be done. Concurrently, the case is being turned over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (C.B.I.) so that it can be thoroughly investigated. On the official website, there isn’t an official update from NTA or UGC.

How Is the UGC NET Syllabus Covered?

Because the NTA UGC NET Syllabus is extensive, finishing it is a work in and of itself. Thus, each candidate must adhere to a basic process in order to cover the material in the UGC NET Syllabus.

Here’s a summary of how to cover the NTA UGC NET syllabus:

  • Read the syllabus carefully: The most important thing to do is to thoroughly read the syllabus and familiarize yourself with all of the topics covered.
  • Break up the questions: Each subject must be categorized into three brackets based on your level of understanding: Easy, Medium, and Difficult.
  • Start with elementary subjects: Prioritize studying the easier subjects before moving on to the more challenging ones as you get ready for the test.
  • Try answering questions about a subject: After finishing a subject, try your understanding of it by answering more than 100 multiple-choice questions. You would have covered the subject if you could respond to the questions.
  • Practice revision on a regular basis: work on the remaining topics while continuing to revise the ones you have already finished.
