UGC NET June 2024 Exam cancelled after Exam Integrity Compromised
UGC NET June 2024 Exam cancelled: NTA has cancelled the UGC-NET June 2024 Exam after integrity of Exam Compromised. Exams for UGC-NET June 2024 were conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on 18th June 2024, in two shifts across different cities of the country.
The Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C), a division of the Ministry of Home Affairs, provided the University Grants Commission (UGC) with certain examination-related input on June 19, 2024. These prima-facie inputs suggest that there may have been a compromise to the integrity of the previously mentioned examination.
The Ministry of Education, Government of India, has decided to cancel the UGC-NET June 2024 Examination and hold a new exam for which information would be shared separately in order to maintain the highest level of transparency and sanctity of the examination process. Concurrently, the case is being turned over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for a comprehensive probe.
The topic of grace marks in relation to the NEET (UG) Examination-2024 has previously been thoroughly discussed. A thorough report has been requested from the Bihar Police’s Economic Offenses Unit regarding certain violations that were allegedly observed during the test in Patna. After receiving this report, the government will take additional measures.
The government is dedicated to safeguarding students’ interests and upholding the integrity of exams. It is once again stated that the toughest measures will be taken against any specific organization discovered to be involved in this problem.
