Work Profile for Union Bank of India Recruitment 2022:
The employment will be contractual in nature. The Contractual Engagement will initially be for three years, with occasional performance reviews. The term of engagement may be extended for a period of one year at a time, subject to a maximum of five years, at the sole discretion of the Bank. The aforementioned contract length is subject to a half-yearly performance assessment. If the performance is deemed unsatisfactory, the Bank may terminate the service contract. The Bank may terminate the contractual engagement at any point during the contract duration by providing one month’s notice or one month’s remuneration in lieu thereof. The contract employee has no entitlement to regular employment in the organization.

The selection will be based on shortlisting and interviews. Mere fulfilling minimum qualifications and experience will not vest any right in a candidate for being called for an interview.
The Shortlisting Committee constituted by the Bank will decide the shortlisting parameters and after that, an adequate number of candidates, as determined by the Bank will be shortlisted and called for interview.
The decision of the bank to call the candidates for the interview shall be final. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
The names of candidates shortlisted for interview & subsequent selection shall be published on Bank’s website. Intimation/ call letter for interview will be sent by email or uploaded on Bank’s website. NO HARD COPY WILL BE SENT.
The final appointment will be based on the decision of the Selection Committee constituted for the purpose.
The merit list for selection will be prepared in descending order on the basis of scores obtained in the interview only. In case more than one candidate scores the cut-off marks (common marks at the cut-off point), such candidates will be ranked according to their age in descending order, in merit.
