For Chief Manager (Chartered Accountants)-

The minimum age limit to apply for the post is 25 years.
The maximum age limit to apply for the post is 40 years.

For Senior Manager (Credit Officer)-

The minimum age limit to apply for the post is 25 years.
The maximum age limit to apply for the post is 35 years.

For Manager ( Credit Officer)-

Age Relaxation will be given as below-

Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe- 5 years.

Other Backward Classes (Non-creamy layer)- 3 years.

Persons with Benchmark Disability (PWBD)- 10 years.

Ex-Servicemen, Commissioned Officers, including Emergency Commissioned Officers (ECOs/Short Service Commissioned Officers (SSCOs) who have rendered at least 5 years of military service and have been released on completion of assignment (Including those whose assignment is due to be completed within one year from the date of notification) otherwise than by way of dismissal or discharge on account of misconduct or inefficiency or physical disability attributable to military service or invalided- 5 years.

Pay Scale for Union Bank of India Recruitment 2023:

As given in the notification of Union Bank of India recruitment 2023, the pay scale is given below-

In addition, Special Allowances, Dearness Allowances and other allowances will be payable as per prevailing rules and regulations in the Bank. Further, the officer will also be eligible for amenities like residential quarters/lease rent in lieu of quarters, LFC, reimbursement of medical/hospitalization expenses and other perquisites as per the policy of the Bank.

Qualification for Union Bank of India Recruitment 2023:

As given in the notification of Union Bank of India Recruitment 2023, candidates must possess the given qualification and experience-

For Chief Manager-

An Associate Member (ACA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).

Work Experience- Minimum 6 years of experience as CA in a BANK/NBFC/FIs/Credit rating agency.

Post-qualification experience in high-value credit, appraisal/ assessment of credit proposals of medium/large corporate/wholesale credit, capital planning & raising activities, quarterly review/ analysis of capital structure, and Bank’s Financial statements preparation will be given preference.

For Senior Manager (Credit Officer)-

Graduation in any discipline.

Desirable- Preferably CAIIB/MBA (Finance)/CMA/CA/CFA/CS

Work Experience- Minimum 4 years of experience in MSME/Corporate credit in any Scheduled Commercial Bank.

For Manager (Credit Officer)-

Graduation in any discipline.

Desirable– Preferably CAIIB/MBA (Finance)/CMA/CA/CFA/CS

Work Experience- Minimum 2 years experience in MSME/ Corporate credit in any Scheduled Commercial Bank and should be a confirmed officer as of the date of application.

Selection Procedure for Union Bank of India Recruitment 2023:

Candidates will be selected on the basis of an Online Examination/Group Discussion (if conducted) and Personal Interview depending on the number of applicants/eligible candidates.

Online Test- The test comprises questions related to Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and Professional knowledge relevant to the post and English Language. The total duration of examination will be of 120 minutes.

Personal Interview-Merit list of candidates based on their marks in the online examination will be prepared in descending order for the respective categories i.e. SC/ST/OBC/EWS/General. Candidates securing the minimum qualifying marks stipulated for online tests and ranking sufficiently high in the order of merit shall be called for a personal Interview and/or GD.

Group Discussion (GD)- Maximum marks for Group Discussion will be 50 and minimum qualifying marks will be 25 for General/EWS and 22.5 for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC). Only those candidates who have secured minimum qualifying marks in GD shall be called for Personal Interview.

The examination centers will be Delhi NCR, Chandigarh/Mohali, Lucknow, Kolkata, Patna, Bhubaneshwar, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Bhopal, Mumbai/Navi Mumbai/Greater Mumbai/Thane, and Ahmedabad.
