Post and Vacancy Details for BSF Recruitment 2023:

As is notified in the BSF Recruitment 2023 Advertisement, there are 26 Vacancies to be filled up explained hereunder:

01) Head Constable (Veterinary): 18 Vacancies

02) Constable (Kennelman): 08 Vacancies

Pay Scales under BSF Recruitment 2023:

As per the BSF Recruitment 2023 Advertisement, the Candidates appointed for the Post (Veterinary Staff Group ‘C’ Combatized (Non-Gazetted) Posts in the Border Security Force) shall be entitled the Pay Scales under Pay Level-03 and Pay Level-04 under the BSF Recruitment 2023 Notification issued.

01) Head Constable (Veterinary):

Pay Scale Level-4 (Rs.25500-81100) Per Month

02) Constable (Kennelman):

Pay Scale: Level-3 (Rs.21700 to 69100) Per Month

Upper Age Limits for BSF Recruitment 2023:

According to the BSF Recruitment 2023 Notifications Age Limits for Un-Reserved Category Candidate on the Closing Date of the BSF Recruitment 2023 Notification remains as follows:

Head Constable (Veterinary): Minimum 18 Years and Maximum 25 Years.

Constable (Kennelman): Minimum 18 Years and Maximum 25 Years

Relaxation in the Upper Age Limits for Reserved Community shall be as explained in the BSF Recruitment 2023 Notification.

Eligibility for BSF Recruitment 2023:

Based on the BSF Recruitment 2023 Notification, the Eligible Candidates should have completed the Educational Qualifications specific to the Posts as explained hereunder:

01) Head Constable (Veterinary):

a) Intermediate (12th) Class Passed from any duly recognized Board of Education.

b) Having Minimum 01 (One) Year’s Course in Veterinary Stock Assistant from any duly recognized Institution with Minimum 01-Year’s Post-Qualification Experience.

02) Constable (Kennelman):

a) Matriculation/10th Class Pass out) from any duly Recognized Board of Education.

b) 02-Years’ Experience in handling the Animals from the Government Veterinary Hospital/ Dispensary/ Veterinary College/Government Farm.

Physical Standards for Both Posts; Man and Woman Genders:

1) Head Constable (Veterinary) AND 2) Constable (Kennelman)

Male Gender:

i) Height: 165 Cm. 150 Cm.

ii) Chest: 76 Cm (Un-expanded ) AND (81 Cm) after expansion)

Female Gender:

i) Height: 150 Cm.

ii) Chest: Not Applicable

iii) Weight corresponding to Height and Age

Selection Process under BSF Recruitment 2023:

Selection on both Posts Head Constable (Veterinary) and Constable (Kennelman) under the Veterinary Staff Group-C Combatised (Non-Gazetted) Posts in the Border Security Force consists of 02 Phases explained hereunder:

1st Phase: Phase-I shall comprise an OMR Answer Sheet Based Competitive Test for 100 Marks explained hereunder:

Post-specific Examination Pattern:

1) Head Constable (Veterinary):

The Border Security Force shall conduct a Competitive Written Examination for Head Constable (Veterinary) Post as follows:

Single Paper consisting of 02 Parts for 100 Marks with 02 Parts shall be as follows:

Part-I

 Part II (Professional Course):

2) Constable (Kennelman):

The Border Security Force shall conduct a Competitive Written Examination for Constable (Kennelman) Post as follows:

Single Paper consisting of 02 Parts/Sections for 100 Marks with 02 Parts shall be as follows:

Part-I

2nd Phase: The Candidates shortlisted scoring the Minimum Qualifying Marks (i.e., UR/EWS/OBC: 45%) and (Reserved Community: 40%) shall be subjected to Phase-II. 2nd Phase shall comprise the following:

a) Physical Standards Test: Qualifying nature

b) Physical Efficiency Test: The Physical Efficiency Test consists of 03 Events of Qualifying nature (i.e., i) Run, ii) Long Jump and iii) High Jump

c) Documentation

d) Detailed Medical Examination (DME) and Review Medical Examination (RME) and Re-Medical Examination (RME)

e) Final Merit List

Examination Fee for BSF Recruitment 2023:

The Candidates will have to pay the Examination Fee Online through the Payment Gateways mentioned hereunder:

i) Un-Reserved Category: Rs. 147.20 (Rupees One Hundred Forty Seven and Paise 20) only.

ii) EWS/OBC Candidates: Rs. 147.20 (Rupees One Hundred Forty Seven and Paise 20) only.

iii) No Examination Fee for Reserved Community Candidates.

i) Net-Banking of any Bank; ii) Credit/Debit Card of any Bank and iii) Nearest Authorized Common Service Centre (CSC).
