AS per UPMRC Recruitment 2023 Notification Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited (UPMRC) is seeking applications to fill up the position of Director (Work and Infrastructure), the number of post avail for this post is 01 vacancy.

Tenure Period for UPMRC Recruitment 2023:

As per the UPMRC Recruitment 2023, official notification, candidates will be appointed on a contract/ Deputation basis for a period of 05 years or till the date of Superannuation whichever is earlier. The directors’ age for superannuation will be 62 years

Age Limit for UPMRC Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the Official notification of UPMRC Recruitment 2023, the maximum and minimum age limit for the Director post is 45 years to 57 years.

Qualification for UPMRC Recruitment 2023:

Candidates applying for the Director (Work and Infrastructure) post must have the following qualification.

• The candidate must hold a civil engineering bachelor’s degree from an institution or university the government authorizes.
• But the desirable qualification for the given post is that candidate with a Civil engineering MBA or Master’s degree from a government-recognized institution or university will be preferred.

Experience for UPMRC Recruitment 2023:

The experience required for the given post is mentioned below:

• An applicant from Government or public sector should have a minimum of 20 years of experience in Group ‘A’ or equivalent executive grade.
• An applicant should have a minimum of 5 years experience out of the 20 years mentioned above at senior level in planning and construction of multi-disciplinary Railway projects, preferably in urban environments such as Metro / MRTS including experience in land acquisition and rehabilitation of project-affected persons.
• The applicant should have extensive experience in preparing tenders/contract document management of important engineering structures such as bridges/tunnels etc.
• The applicant should be well versed in Safety aspects relating to Railway/ Metro/ MRTS Construction and Operations.

Desirable:

• Experience in underground constructions including tunnels.
• Experience of all phases of the project on international contracts i.e planning, tender document preparation, bidding, execution, commissioning, post-commissioning, etc.
• Experience and knowledge of complying with project-related requirements of international funding institutions.
• The applicant should have experience and knowledge of coordinating and interfacing with Railway-related disciplines such as track installation, signaling, electrification, and rolling stock etc.

Salary for UPMRC Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of UPMRC Recruitment 2023, applicants who will be hired for this post will get a scale pay between Rs.180000 to Rs.340000 along with other allowances/perks and privileges as per the UPMRC rule.

Selection Procedure for UPMRC Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the Official notification of UPMRC Recruitment 2023, the shortlisted candidates will be called for a Personal Interview, Document Verification, and Medical Examination.

The selected candidates will have to undergo medical fitness examination in UPMRC nominated hospital as per the prescribed medical category.
