Essential Qualification for UPPSC Recruitment 2024:

To apply for UPPSC Recruitment 2024, the applicants must have the required qualifications described below:

For Distt. Horticulture Officer. Group–2, Grade–1

• The applicants must have a B.Sc. (Agriculture)/B.Sc. (Horticulture) degree from a recognised University or Institute.
• The applicants must have an M.Sc. (Agriculture) degree in Horticulture/Fruits/ Vegetable/Floriculture from a recognised university or Institute.

For Principal State Food Science Training Center/Food Processing Officer, Group–2

• The applicants must have a B.Sc. (with Chemistry as a subject) from a recognised University or institute or a B.Sc. (Agriculture) from a recognised University or institute followed by two years of Post-graduate Associate Course in Fruit and Vegetable Technology from a Government Food Processing and Technology Institute, Lucknow or any other recognised institute, or M.Sc. (Food Technology)/M.Sc. (Food preservation)/M.Sc. (Food Science) from a recognised University or institute.

For U.P. Agriculture Services Group ‘b’, Grade–2 (Agronomy Branch)

• The applicants must have a Postgraduate degree in Agronomy from a University established by Law in India or a qualification recognised by the Government as equivalent thereto.
• The applicants must have a PhD degree in Agronomy from a university established by Law in India or a qualification recognised by the Government as equivalent thereto.

For U.P. Agriculture Services Group ‘b’, Grade–2 (Botany Branch)

The applicants must have a Postgraduate degree in Agricultural Botany or Post–a graduate degree in Plant Breeding with Genetics; a Postgraduate degree in Botany with a specialisation in Plant Breeding or Genetics; or a Postgraduate degree in Forestry from a University established by Law in India or a qualification recognised by the Government as equivalent thereto.

Salary for UPPSC Recruitment 2024:

As informed by the official notification of UPPSC Recruitment 2024, the salary is indicated below:

• The selected candidate will be get a salary of Rs. 9300–34800 Grade Pay Rs. 4600 (Revised Pay Scale Level–7 Pay matrix Rs. 44900– Rs. 142400) to Rs. 15600– Rs.39100 Grade Pay Rs. 5400 (Revised Pay Scale Rs. 56100–Rs.177500 Pay Matrix Level–10) are included in aforesaid Examination.
