UPSC CSE Prelims Result 2024: The UPSC Civil Services (Preliminary) Examinations 2024 results were released by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) yesterday i.e., on 1st July 2024. On the UPSC website, upsc.gov.in, candidates who took the Civil Services (Preliminary) Exam can view their results.
On 16th June 2024, the UPSC Civil Services (Preliminary) Examinations 2024 were held at several test locations around the country. In two shifts, more than 13.4 lakh students took the Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT) and General Studies exams.
The subjects covered in General Studies (Paper I) were International relations, Science and Technology, Environment and Ecology, History, Geography, and Indian politics. Questions on reasoning and analysis, reading comprehension, and decision-making were all covered in the Civil Services Aptitude Test (Paper 2).
There were four options for each objective-style question on the exam, which had 400 possible points. The UPSC Civil Services (Mains) Exam 2024, which is followed by the Interview or Personality Test, will be the next round in which successful applicants might appear.

Candidates must meet the overall qualifying marks in General Studies Paper 1 and earn at least 33% in General Studies Paper 2 in order to pass the UPSC CSE Prelims examination.
The UPSC calendar indicates that in September 2024, the commission will administer the Civil Services (Mains) Exam 2024. The UPSC cutoff and answer key will be released after the final result is announced; the Commission will not disclose them along with the results.
