UPSC CSE Prelims Result 2025: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) administered the UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE) Prelims 2025 examination on May 25, 2025, in offline mode, across numerous exam centres. The UPSC CSE Prelims examination is conducted every year to place candidates at various All India Services and Central Civil Services posts, The Prelims is the combined exam for both. This year, a total of 979 vacancies are available to fill positions of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Postal Service (Group A), Indian Railway Protection Force Service (Group A), etc. According to the UPSC CSE Prelims 2025 marking scheme, candidates will be awarded full marks for a correct answer, and 1/3 of the mark will be deducted for an incorrect response.
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is anticipated to release the Civil Services Examination (CSE) Preliminary Result 2025 by mid-June. The candidates who this year appeared for the UPSC CSE Prelims 2025 examination will be able to access their results once they are released. Candidates must secure a minimum of 33% marks in the CSAT paper and also score above the cut-off marks for the General Studies Paper I to clear the UPSC examination. The UPSC CSE Mains 2025 examination is scheduled to be administered on August 22, 2025, by the commission. There is no merit list available for the UPSC prelims exam.
The UPSC CSE Prelims 2025 examination included two objective-type papers (MCQs), each held for the duration of two hours. Each paper was of 200 marks weightage.

- Step 4: The UPSC CSE Prelims Result 2025 will be displayed on the screen.
- Step 5: Download the PDF file containing the roll numbers of qualified candidates.
- Step 6: Use the function "Ctrl+F" to search your roll number.
- Step 7: Save and print the PDF for future reference.
