UPSC ESE Recruitment 2023 Out for 327 Vacancies, Check Exam Details, How to Apply, Last date Oct 4

UPSC Recruitment 2022: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued the official notification of the UPSC Engineering Services Exam 2023. The online application process started on September 14 and the deadline for the submission of the application form is October 4 till 6 pm. Interested candidates can apply online at www.upsc.gov.in and upsconline.nic.in. Approx. 327 vacancies are to be filled on the results of the examination.

The online Applications can be withdrawn from October 12 to October 18 till 6:00 PM after which the link will be disabled. The UPSC Engineering Services Preliminary Exam 2023 will be conducted on February 19, 2023. Recruitment on the results of this examination will be made to the Services/ Posts under the following categories:

Category I-Civil Engineering.

Category II-Mechanical Engineering.

Category III-Electrical Engineering.

Category IV-Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering.

Vacancy Details: Approx. 327 vacancies are to be filled on the results of the examination including 11 vacancies for the Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) (7 vacancies for Locomotor Disability including Leprosy cured, Dwarfism, Acid Attack victims and Muscular Dystrophy, 02 vacancies for Hard of Hearing 01 vacancy for Specific Learning Disability and 01 vacancies for Multiple Disability). The number of vacancies is liable to alteration.

Age-Limit for UPSC Recruitment 2022:

A candidate for this examination must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on the 1^st January 2023 i.e., he/she must have been born not earlier than 2^nd January 1993 and not later than 1^st January 2002.

Minimum Educational Qualification for UPSC Recruitment 2022:

For admission to the examination, a candidate must have –

(a) obtained a degree in Engineering from a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other Educational Institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as Universities under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; or

(b) passed Sections A and B of the Institution Examinations of the Institution of Engineers (India); or

(c) obtained a degree/diploma in Engineering from such foreign University/College/Institution and under such conditions as may be recognised by the Government for the purpose from time to time, or

(d) passed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (India);or

(e) passed Associate Membership Examination Parts II and III/Sections A and B of the Aeronautical Society of India; or

(f) passed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institution of Electronics and Radio Engineers, London held after November 1959

Application Fees for UPSC Recruitment 2022:

Female/SC/ST/PwBD are exempted from submission of the application fee. For other candidates, the application fee is Rs. 200.

Interested and eligible candidates need to visit the official website at upsconline.nic.in and apply for the Post. Log in and go to apply link for ESE Prelims 2023 and fill out the application form, upload documents, and submit. Download the submitted form and take a printout. The Last date to apply is 15.09.2022. The UPSC Engineering Services Preliminary Exam 2023 will be conducted on February 19, 2023.

Online Applications can be filled from 14th September 2022 to 4th October 2022 till 6:00 PM.
