UPSC Recruitment 2023: New Notification Out, Check Post, Qualification, Age, Salary and How to Apply

UPSC Recruitment 2023: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is looking for applications from retired government servants for engagement as a consultant at the deputy secretary level in the office of UPSC. There are 06 seats available for the positions mentioned. As indicated in the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2023, candidates should have retired from the rank of Deputy Secretary or equivalent, i.e., from the post in Level-12 of the Pay Matrix as per the 7th CPC (pre-revised GP-7600/- in PB-3) from any Ministry or Department of the Government of India. The maximum age of the candidates should be 64 years as on the closing date.

Referring to the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2023, for persons retired with NPS, an amount equivalent to 30% of the last pay drawn at the time of retirement shall be deducted from the last basic pay and the resultant amount shall be the fixed monthly amount as remuneration. Based on the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2023, willing and eligible candidates can fill out the application form and send it along with the relevant documents to the undersecretary (admin), R.No. 11, annex building (ground floor), Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069, on or before the last date.

Required eligibility for UPSC Recruitment 2023:

In order to apply for UPSC Recruitment 2023, candidates should meet the following required eligibility criteria for the post:

Candidates should be retired from the rank of Deputy Secretary or equivalent, i.e., from the post in Level 12 of the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC (pre-revised GP of Rs 7600/- in PB-3) or as Under Secretary or equivalent, i.e., from the post in Level 11 of the revised pay matrix as per 7th CPC (pre-revised GP of Rs 6600/- in PB-3) from any Ministry or Department of Government of India.
Candidates should have a minimum of two years’ experience in handling vigilance and disciplinary cases at the Deputy Secretary or Under Secretary level in any Ministry or Department of the Government of India.
Candidates should have knowledge have the workings of computer applications in the day-to-day functioning of the office.

Age limit for UPSC Recruitment 2023:

Based on the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2023, the candidates should not have attained the age of 64 year as on the closing date.

Remuneration for UPSC Recruitment 2023:

As stated in the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2023, the candidates who are selected for this post will get the following remuneration per month:

For persons retired with NPS, an amount equivalent to 30% of the last pay drawn at the time of retirement shall be deducted from the last basic pay and the resultant amount shall be the fixed monthly amount as remuneration.
The consultant shall also be entitled to a transportation allowance at the rate applicable to him or her at the time of retirement.
