UPSC Recruitment 2023: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is recruiting candidates to fill the post of Dangerous Goods Inspector in the Ministry of Civil Aviation. Tenure for UPSC Recruitment 2023:

Subject to satisfactory completion of the required induction training, 02 years for direct candidates.
Training: Newly appointed officers must participate in induction training for at least two weeks in order to gain a comprehensive awareness of the organisation, its vision, and mission as well as the skills essential to do their jobs. After completing their basic training, newly inducted officers will receive on-the-job training to prepare them to handle their responsibilities on their own.

Age Limit for UPSC Recruitment 2023:

The age restriction for the aforementioned position shall not exceed 40 years, as stated in the official notification of the UPSC Recruitment 2023.

Qualification for UPSC Recruitment 2023:

  • Applicant must have completed a Category 6 Dangerous Goods Training course that has been certified by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), or the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

  • Candidate should have 02 years of experience as a Dangerous Goods Instructor of a training organization approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation
  • Aspirants must have 05 years of experience in handling air cargo in scheduled operations.

Candidates would receive a salary scale at salary Level 11 of the pay matrix, per the official UPSC Recruitment 2023 release.
