UPSC Recruitment 2024: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is looking for eligible candidates for the posts of Scientist-B, Specialist Grade III, Research Officer (Chemistry), Investigator Grade-I, Assistant Chemist, Assistant Chemist, Nautical Surveyor-Cum Deputy Director General (Technical), Assistant Professor and Medical Officer. Required Qualifications and Experience for UPSC Recruitment 2024:
Referring to official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2024, the required qualifications and experience are given below:
For Scientist-B-
The candidate should have Master’s Degree in Physics from a recognized University/ Institute OR Bachelor of Engineering or
The candidate should have Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering/ Mechanical engineering/ Metallurgy from a recognized University/ Institute.
Experience–
The candidate should have 01 year practical experience in non-destructive/metallographic techniques as employed in testing/ evaluation/ failure investigation of materials for candidates holding Master’s Degree in Physics.
The candidate should have 02 years practical experience in non-destructive/ metallographic techniques as employed in testing/ evaluation/ failure investigation of materials for candidates holding Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Metallurgy.
For Specialist Grade III –
The candidate should have MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).
The candidate should have Post-graduate degree in the concerned Speciality or Super-speciality mentioned in Section-A of Schedule VI from recognized Teaching Institute i.e., Doctorate of Medicine (Nephrology); or Diplomate National Board (Nephrology).
Experience-
The candidate should have 03 years’ teaching experience as Senior Resident or Tutor or Demonstrator or Registrar or
The candidate should have Assistant Professor or Lecturer in the concerned Speciality or Super-speciality in a recognized teaching institution after obtaining the first Post-graduate degree.
For Medical Officer –
The candidate should have a degree in Ayurveda from a recognized University or Statutory State Board/ Council/ faculty of Indian Medical recognized under the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970( 48 of 1970).
The candidate should have Enrolment on the Central Register of Indian Medicine or State Register of Indian Medicine.
