• Candidate should have an M.Sc. (Agriculture) degree in Horticulture/Fruits/ Vegetable/Floriculture from a recognised university or Institute.
• Candidate should have Served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years, or
• Candidate should have Obtained a ‘B’ certificate of the National Cadet corps.

U.P. Agriculture Services Group ‘B’, Grade–2 (Chemistry Branch)

• Candidate should have a Postgraduate degree in Agricultural Chemistry, Soil Science or Soil Conservation from a University established by Law in India or a qualification recognised by Govt. as equivalent thereto.

Preferential:

• Candidate should have a PhD degree in Agricultural Chemistry or Soil Science or Soil Conservation from a University established by Law in India or a qualification recognised by Government as equivalent thereto.
• Candidate should have Served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years, or
• Candidate should have Obtained a ‘B’ certificate of the National Cadet corps.

Senior Technical Assistant Group–A (Development Branch)

• Candidate should have a Postgraduate degree in the field relevant with agriculture from any recognized institution or university must be a graduate in Agriculture.

Preferential:

• Candidate should have Served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years, or
• Candidate should have Obtained a ‘B’ certificate of National Cadet corps
