UPSC Recruitment 2024: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is accepting applications for the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Border Security Force (BSF), and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) positions for the Central Armed Police Force (Assistant Commandants) Examination, 2024. According to the official UPSC Recruitment 2024 announcement, applicants for the position mentioned above must be at least 20 years old and not more than 25. 506 vacancies have been posted for the positions mentioned above. The candidates are required to be graduates of an accredited university with a bachelor’s degree. Applicants for the positions mentioned above must be in good physical and medical health.

Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 states an institution to be deemed a university.

The Central Armed Police Force (Assistant Commandants) Written Examination, 2024 will be conducted by the committee. As part of the selection process, the committee will schedule the applicants who pass this examination for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Medical Standards Tests, Interview, and Personality Test.
