In the General Central Service, Group-“B,” Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is accepting applications for the position of Staff Car Driver (Ordinary Grade) on a Deputation, Absorption, or Re-employment basis. Based on the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2024 must have the following eligibility.

Deputation or Absorption:

From amongst the regular Despatch Rider and Multi Tasking Staff working in the office of the Union Public Service Commission who fulfil the qualification mentioned for direct recruits which are as:-

• Possession of valid driving license for motor cars;
• Knowledge of motor mechanism (the candidates should be able to remove minor defects in the vehicle);
• Experience driving a motor car for at least three years; and
• Candidate can 10th standard pass falling from officials holding the post of Despatch Rider on a regular basis or regular Multi Tasking Staff or equivalent in other Ministries of the Central Government who fulfill the qualifications as mentioned for direct recruits.

For Armed Forces Personnel:-

Deputation or Re-employment:

The Armed Forces personnel who are due to retire or to be transferred to reserve within a period of one year and possessing qualifications and experience as mentioned under:-

• Possession of valid driving license for motor cars;
• Knowledge of motor mechanism (the candidates should be able to remove minor defects in the vehicle).
• Experience driving a motor car for at least three years.
• Candidate 10th standard pass.

Salary for UPSC Recruitment 2024:

The chosen candidate for UPSC Recruitment 2024 would be paid a level 02 monthly pay, which is between Rs. 19900 and Rs. 63200.

Tenure for UPSC Recruitment 2024:

The chosen candidate will be appointed for a period of three years, per the official UPSC Recruitment 2024 notification.
