UPSC Recruitment 2025: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is inviting online applications from prepared and interested candidates for admission to the Combined Defence Services Examination- I for jobs in prestigious institutions including the Indian Military Academy, Officer’s Training Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Indian Air Force Academy. There are 457 vacancies open for UPSC Recruitment 2025. The maximum age limit is 20 to 24 years as of 1st January 2026 i.e. born not earlier than 2nd January 2002 and not later than 1st January 2006 (Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (India) is the the relaxable upto 26 yrs. i.e. born not earlier than 2nd January 2000 and not later than 1st January 2006 only are eligible
According to the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2025, the selection will be based on an examination and interview/ personality test. The examination will be conducted on 13.04.2025. The examination will be held at various centers. The application fee is Rs.200. The Female/SC/ST candidates do not need to pay the application fee. The payment will be made online or pay by cash method. In order to apply for UPSC Recruitment 2025, qualified and willing candidates may fill out the online application on the official website of UPSC on or before the closing date. The other mode of application will not be accepted.

Age limit is 20 to 24 years as of 1st January 2026 i.e. born not earlier than 2nd January 2002 and not later than 1st January 2006 (Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (India) is the relaxable upto 26 yrs. i.e. born not earlier than 2nd January 2000 and not later than 1st January 2006 only are eligible.
Candidates who have the qualifications given below are eligible to apply for UPSC Recruitment 2025.
According to the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2025, the candidates will be selected on the basis of an examination followed by an interview/ personality test. The candidates can download their admit card from the official website of UPSC before 3 or 4 days of the exam. The subjects of the written examination, the time allowed and the maximum marks allotted to each subject will be as follows:
For Admission to Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Air Force Academy-

The examination will be held at the following Centres on 13.04.2025.
The candidates have to pay Rs.200 to complete the application process for UPSC Recruitment 2025. The Female/SC/ST candidates are exempted from payment of a fee. The application fee will be paid in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using Visa/Master/Rupay Credit/Debit Card/UPI Payment or by using the internet banking facility of any Bank. Applicants who opt for the “Pay by Cash” mode should print the system-generated Pay in slip during Part-II registration and deposit the fee at the counter of the SBI Branch on the next working day only. The “Pay by Cash” mode option will be deactivated at 11:59 PM on 30.12.2024.
As given in the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2025, suitable and eligible candidates are required to apply online and submit the requisite information and supporting documents towards various claims, such as date of birth, educational qualification, etc. as may be sought by the Commission along with the Registration and Online Application Form on the official website of UPSC on or before the last date.
