Overview:

IBM is hiring an experienced Product Manager at their Kochi location. Product Managers (PM) operate in a demanding role at the epicenter of multi-disciplinary teams which include design, engineering, sales, marketing, finance, and legal. In this role, you’ll play a central role orchestrating the definition of product requirements and go-to-market strategy to solve data challenges of enterprise and mid-market clients. This role requires collaboration and coordination across internal and external teams. You’ll work with Data and AI experts, partners, and other cross functional stakeholders to prioritize roadmap features and spearhead the definition and delivery of new and differentiated capabilities.

What will you be doing:

Innovate with established and emerging technology software, hardware, and services

Act as change agents and champion strategic initiatives and partnerships

Work collaboratively with development leaders, product architects, product designers, and key clients to appropriately package features into offering releases and ensure offering designs reflect business objectives

Establish goals and review metrics to plan and deliver success and drive business review on a regular cadence

Articulate market problems to the broader product team

Develop and execute roadmaps, business models, and go-to-market plans

Collaborate closely with design and engineering to ship offerings

Work with clients, offering management, and sales leadership around the world to understand and track the health and adoption of services and gather feedback

Qualifications for this Job:

Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, related field or equivalent experience in product management, data engineering and/or data analytics

Self-starter with proven record to deliver client and business outcomes

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for data-driven decision making

Proven ability to synthesize complex issues and opinions into simple stories

Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence others internally and externally

Strong attention to detail and ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously (processes, resources, and stakeholders)

Ability to deliver initiatives from conception through completion in an iterative way

Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads

Experience with agile development methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence
