Vipul Limited's Managing Director Arrested by Gurugram EOW; Company Says Operations Unaffected
Vipul Limited has recently disclosed that its managing director, CEO, and CFO, Mr. Punit Beriwala, has been apprehended by the Economic Offences Wing, Gurugram, on the accounts of alleged offences belonging to FIR No. 544/2024. The arrest took place on February 27, 2026.
The information has been disclosed through a regulatory filing dated March 03, 2026, issued under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, and the company's policy on determination of materiality of events, addressed to the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
As per the information disclosed, the company does not have enough information regarding why the arrest has been made; however, right now, the company is in the process of obtaining further information. Once obtained, the company will disclose them too.
The arrest relates personally to Mr Punit Beriwala. At present, the company's operations are continuing as usual. The Board or the appropriate committee is reviewing temporary arrangements to manage the company's affairs, and any further decisions will be shared separately.
