Overview:

Volvo is hiring an experienced Manager for Application support at their Bangalore, location. As the Jira Administrator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of our Jira platform, ensuring it meets the needs of our organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to configure, customize, and optimize Jira for various projects and workflows.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Administer, configure, and maintain Jira, including user management, workflows, custom fields, dashboards, and reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement customized solutions within Jira.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Jira functionality, performance, and integrations.
• Provide training and support to users on Jira best practices and usage.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including system procedures and guidelines.
• Work closely with the IT team to ensure proper integration with other systems and tools.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and recommend improvements to optimize Jira performance.

Eligibility Criteria:

Education:

• Should have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a Jira Administrator or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Jira configurations, workflows, permissions, and user management.

Experience:

• Experience with Jira integrations and plugins.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
