Western Railway Recruitment 2022: Applications are invited ONLINE from eligible candidates for filling up of Two (02) posts in Level – 2 of VII CPC Pay Matrix (Rs.19900- 63200) against Cultural Quota for the post of Octopad Instrument player and Male Singer for the year 2022 – 2023 over Western Railway under the Ministry of Railway.
Interested Candidate Applying Online can visit the official site of India railways for more exam-related information. The last date for submission of the application is 16th December 2022 up to 11:59 pm. Candidates are advised to visit RRC WR website regularly for further updates as there can be a failure in the delivery of SMS/E-mail to the candidates due to reasons beyond the control of RRC.

Passed 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate for NTPC categories.
50%marks are not insisted upon in the case of SC/ST/ Ex. Servicemen / Persons With Disabilities (PWD) candidates and in case of candidates who possess qualifications higher than the essential minimum prescribed qualification.
NOTE: Persons if appointed to the category of Clerk-cum-Typist should acquire Typing proficiency of 30 w.p.m. in English or 25 w.p.m. in Hindi within a period of two years from the date of appointment and till such time their appointments to this category will be provisional.
Matriculation plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship approved by NCVT / SCVT for technical categories.
OR
Matriculation plus ITI approved by NCVT / SCVT for technical categories.
Desirable:
Valid Certificate showing experience in the field and performance are given on AIR / Doordarshan etc.
Valid Certificate showing Prizes won in competitions held at National Level by Concerned Academy / recognized by Government.
The age limit of the Candidate should be Between 18 to 30 years.

Application fees for the relevant post is Rs. 500 for UR candidates and Candidates belonging to SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/Women/EBC etc need to pay for this exam Rs. 250.
