Which Board is Best in UAE for Class 9th Onwards?
Which Board is Best in UAE for Class 9th Onwards: With the development of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), an effective education system was established. The UAE education system is divided into three sectors – private schools, public schools (government schools), and higher educational institutions. In addition, the UAE education system is divided into four tiers – kindergarten, primary school, preparatory stage, and secondary school.
The public schools or government schools are run by the UAE government, and the education for UAE nationality children is provided and paid for by the state itself. Most of the public schools are gender-segregated and follow the Arabic curriculum with English as a second language. Primary and secondary education is free and compulsory for all boys and girls in public schools.
The private schools are open to both UAE national students and resident students. The Arabic language is compulsory for all curricula. In the UAE, private school education is usual among Emirati students, as more than 50% of Emirati students attend private schools with various curricula.
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE):
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is the front-runner education board established and run by the Government of India. It is the most preferred curriculum for Indian expatriates in the UAE. Presently, there are 79 CBSE-affiliated schools in the UAE. In India, CBSE is responsible for conducting two board exams every year for class 10th & 12th, in which exam conditions, patterns, and duration are determined, and issuing qualifying certificates to all the qualified students in the UAE.
Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE):
The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) is a private board designed to provide an examination. This is a non-governmental school board. The students who choose ICSE education get to study the English subject thoroughly. The ICSE boards and schools ensure they encourage children to be very analytical about their thoughts, and learning provides children with a wide range of global exposure and many more things to learn about.
United Kingdom Board (UK Board):
The examination boards in the United Kingdom are responsible for setting and awarding secondary educational level qualifications, such as GCSEs, Standard Grades, A Levels, Highers and Vocational qualifications, to students in the United Kingdom. The GCE (A Level) boards and GCSE examination groups began to merge in a formal way. The government encouraged this, as they wanted to simplify the system by having fewer exam boards.
The students can select accordingly about which board they want to choose according to their preferences. If the students pursue any board in the US or UK, they can opt for any of the US Board or UK Board, and if the students pursue any board in India, they can opt for any of the CBSE or ICSE Board (the CBSE Board is more preferred).
