4 Years Imprisonment to Ex-NHAI Manager in Bribery Case The Special Judge, CBI Cases, Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) convicted Shri Braj Mohan Gupta, then Manager (Tech), NHAI, MU- Shivpuri, to four years imprisonment and a fine of Rs.5000. CBI filed a complaint against Shri Braj Mohan Gupta, then Manager (Tech), NHAI, MU- Shivpuri on 16.05.2014. It was claimed that Shri Braj Mohan Gupta requested a bribe of Rs. 4000 from the Complainant in order for him to keep his employment as a Computer Operator at NHAI and not be fired. The CBI set a trap and captured the accused red-handed while soliciting and taking a bribe of Rs.4000 from the complainant. Following an investigation, a charge sheet was filed against the accused on November 7, 2014. The Trial Court found the accused guilty and sentenced him to prison.
