715 cases of Corruption Charges registered Against Central Government Employees Dr Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) Science & Technology; Minister of State (Independent Charge) Earth Sciences; MoS PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances, Pensions, Atomic Energy and Space, said that the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered 715 cases of corruption against Central Government employees working in 45 departments between 2017 and 2021. Dr Jitendra Singh stated in a written reply to a question in the Rajya Sabha today that the CBI had arrested 1281 workers from various departments on bribery and corruption charges. According to him, the appropriate cadre controlling authorities (CCAs) take action in individual situations in accordance with the respective Disciplinary Rules.
