UG/PG CLAT EXAM Rescheduled to be held on 19 June 2022

The Executive Committee of the Consortium of National Law Universities met on the 14th March, 2022 and resolved as follows:

• CLAT-2022 is rescheduled to Sunday, 19th June, 2022 between 2 & 4 PM for both UG and PG programmes.

Pattern for (UG/PG) exam

The UG-CLAT shall be a 2-hour test, with 150 multiple choice questions (MCQ) carrying 1 mark each. There shall be negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.

These questions would be divided across the following 5 subjects for UG

• Current Affairs AND General Knowledge (35-39 questions)
• English Language (28-32 questions)
• Quantitative Techniques or Aptitude (13-17 questions)
• Logical Reasoning (28-32 questions)
• Legal Reasoning (35-39 questions)

PG-CLAT will have one section –

The objective section. There is no descriptive section. The objective section will have 100 multiple-choice questions, with each carrying one mark. Each incorrect answer will invite a penalty of 0.25 marks.

These questions would be divided across the following 5 subjects for PG

• Constitutional Law, Jurisprudence, Administrative Law
• Law of Contract, Torts, Family Law, Criminal Law
• Property Law, Company Law
• Public International Law, Tax Law
• Environmental Law, and Labour & Industrial Law

Constitutional Law have separated part and rest other have all ( Jurisprudence, Administrative Law, Law of Contract, Torts, Family Law, Criminal Law, Property Law, Company Law, Public International Law, Tax Law, Environmental Law, and Labour & Industrial Law) of this.

Constitutional Law have 60 questions, and other have 60 questions.
